For outstandingly strong and absolutely precise short-range performance, the 1-8x24 Exos features the patented Close Combat Mode (CC Mode). With a true 1x magnification, parallax-free shooting is automatically set to 7 m; from 1.1x magnification onwards it automatically switches to 100 m. The large exit pupil allows for rapid target acquisition, while the daylight-bright FlashDot reticle in the Second Focal Plane (2. FP) provides additional support and remains clearly visible even during fast target engagement. On fast moving game hunts, game can be identified reliably. An optional tactical CQB reticle also makes the 1-8x24 Exos suitable for Competition shooting. In the available and retrofit-ready TMR version, it is compatible with the optional Throw Lever magnification lever for quicker and more intuitive operation.
