Lightweight and compact

As compact as classic daytime binoculars, Merger LRF XQ35 is ideal for stalking. Being the lightest in the product line, Merger LRF XQ35 is convenient for searching and pursuing animals. Balanced weight distribution ensures comfortable observation without fatigue during long duration observation.

Classic binocular design

Merger LRF has a classic shape of daytime binoculars. Compact design ensures perfect and comfortable grip, while retaining appealing aesthetics and ergonomics. Six functional buttons are placed in convenient spot to grant quick access to the most often used features.

Highly sensitive European-made thermal sensor < 25 mK NETD / 384x288 pixel @ 17 µm

The Merger LRF XQ35 is equipped with the highly sensitive < 25 mK NETD European-made Lynred sensor which qualitatively captures a useful signal under difficult observation conditions, when thermal contrast is low. The smallest temperature differences will be clearly visible during the rain, fog and high atmospheric humidity at the observation site.

User mode

Use the brightness and contrast adjustments to maximise the detail and informative value of the image in specific observation conditions. The User Mode function saves selected brightness and contrast settings in the device's memory providing optimal image quality for the next use of the thermal imager immediately, with no additional adjustments needed.

Proximity sensor for covert use

Observation in the dark requires being covert, so that hunted animals are not alerted by your presence. Going to stand-by using Display Off feature is a usual way to prevent backlight from the eyepieces. To simplify this task Merger LRF has a built-in proximity sensor. It acts as a display switch for preventing backlight exposure in the dark. When the unit is taken away from the eyes, proximity sensor switches both displays off and when the unit is brought closer both displays are switched on offering excellent image quality.

Rugged magnesium alloy housing

Merger LRF is designed for constant, often hard use. A magnesium alloy housing is light and strong at the same time. The housing reliably protects the internal components of a thermal imaging device from shocks, drops, moisture, heat or cold. At the same time, a metal housing effectively removes the heat from electronics and increases consistency of the device operation during long-term observation.

Precise laser ranging up to 1000m

Understanding the target distance is an essential factor in making the right decisions. A built-in laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometre allows you to measure distances in single measurements and continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ± 1 meters for quick and error-free assessment of the situation.

Combined dual battery system

The Merger LRF is powered with two rechargeable batteries: one built-in with a capacity of 4 Ah, the other replaceable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A single charge guarantees up to 11 hours of battery life. The embossment on the body of the replaceable battery for accurate determination of the correct position makes it possible to quickly and confidently replace a flat battery with a new one in complete darkness by touch.
