You can recharge the discharged batteries (at a discharge cut-off voltage) until screen shows "FULL" to know their actual capacity.

"null" / "Err" Display

1. "null" (after 10min) - It is a bad battery or Ni-MH battery that can' t be charged.
2. "Err" (Immediately) - When reverse polarity and short circuit happens.
